The A/W 09 collection is centered around The Dawn of the Samurai, when Japanese medieval warrior tales were passed on through written texts & oral recitation to pacify the angry souls of warriors killed in battle. The garments feature bold, distinctive prints that become the key focus, set on a backdrop of dark and subdued colours to convey a strong masculine presence, emulating the features of conquering strength and control that were embodied within the Japanese Warriors. Our latest collection is centered around Parallel Lines, taking inspiration from shapes, origami paper folding – twisted, folded and pleated for that dramatic effect with just a hint of 80s nostalgia. Geometric/Bauhaus prints are intertwined with Japanese imagery and smoldering palettes to maximise impact. |
